Supported documents and editing limits

Text and forms. Rewrite or clear editable text, add notes, and place ticks or crosses over printed or scanned forms. Marks and entries are visible PDF content; they do not change interactive form-field values. Scanned words cannot be rewritten. OCR and Word-style reflow are not included. Noto Sans is used when the original font cannot supply new characters.

Images, shapes and pages. Add signature images, crop and transform pictures, and draw lines, boxes or ovals. Select additions to edit or remove these items later, including after reopening. Signatures are pictures, not certificate-based digital signatures. Insert blank pages, images, or selected pages from another PDF. Word documents need to be saved as PDF first. Merging copies page content; document-level bookmarks and interactive form behaviour may not carry over.

Your browser and file. Use Chrome or Firefox with WebAssembly and module-worker support. Files that need a password to open require an unlocked copy. Empty signature boxes do not prevent editing. Existing digital signatures are read-only here. If a PDF permits filling or annotations but restricts page editing, choose Create fill-in copy to complete a static copy of its visible pages. This removes interactive fields, bookmarks and attachments from the copy. Input files can be up to 20 MB; the workspace supports 200 pages and a 60 MB saved PDF. Download changes before closing this tab. Up to eight undo steps are kept, within a memory limit. Check your downloaded pages before sharing.
